Mob Boss who inspired "The Departed" James Whitey Bulger Caught By FBI...

The Boston mob boss that was the inspiration behind the film “The Departed” was captured by the FBI on Wednesday.

James “Whitey” Bulger, 81, was arrested in Santa Monica, Calif., with longtime girlfriend Catherine Greig, 60, days after the government launched a publicity campaign to help locate the fugitive. The arrest was made based on a tip.
Bulger had been on the run for 16 years and was on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted List for his alleged role in 19 murders.
