Daniel Craig, 43, and Oscar-winning actress Rachel Weisz, 41,  tied the knot Wednesday in an ultra-secret New York ceremony after a brief six-month romance, reports said Sunday quoting their publicists. Reports said only four guests were in attendance, two family friends acting as witnesses, Craig's teenage daughter and Weisz's young son.
The pair team up in the forthcoming "Dream House", playing a married couple who relocate to a quaint New England town only to discover that their idyllic new home has been the scene of horrific murders.

New York to become the 6th State to legalize Gay Marriages

New York will become the 6th and largest state to allow gay marriage after state senators voted 33-29 tonight to pass a bill legalizing it. The vote came after days of delays that saw last-minute lobbying on all sides, passing by a slim margin with Republican support -- the first time a state legislature with a Republican majority has approved such a bill.
Currently, five states -- Massachusetts, Connecticut, Iowa, Vermont and New Hampshire -- and the District of Columbia grant same-sex marriage licenses.

Woman dies at her own funeral...go figure...

 A Russian woman died from a heart attack brought on by the shock of waking up at her own funeral.Fagilyu Mukhametzyanov, 49, was mistakenly declared deceased by doctors, the Daily Mail reported Friday.
   But she later woke up - in a coffin surrounded by sobbing relatives. She started screaming after realizing she was about to be buried alive.
    Mukhametzyanov, a resident of Kazan, was rushed back to the hospital where she was declared dead -- this time for real.Her husband, Fagili Mukhametzyanov, was distraught."Her eyes fluttered and we immediately rushed her back to the hospital but she only lived for another 12 minutes," he said.

He told The Sun that he would sue the hospital.

"I am very angry and want answers. She wasn't dead when they said she was and they could have saved her."
A spokesman at the hospital, also in Kazan, said officials were investigating.

The Boston mob boss that was the inspiration behind the film “The Departed” was captured by the FBI on Wednesday.

James “Whitey” Bulger, 81, was arrested in Santa Monica, Calif., with longtime girlfriend Catherine Greig, 60, days after the government launched a publicity campaign to help locate the fugitive. The arrest was made based on a tip.
Bulger had been on the run for 16 years and was on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted List for his alleged role in 19 murders.

6.7 Magnitude earthquake hits North-eastern Japan

A magnitude-6.7 earthquake struck off the Pacific Coast of northern Japan early Thursday, Japanese and U.S. seismologists reported.The Japan Meteorological Agency issued a tsunami warning for the region after the quake, but cancelled it about an hour later.The quake struck shortly before 7 a.m. (6 p.m. Wednesday ET) and was centered 530 kilometers (330 miles) north-northeast of Tokyo.
The epicenter was off the northern prefecture of Iwate, about 175 kilometers (109 miles) north of where the magnitude-9 quake that devastated northern Japan struck in March.

Mozilla Releases Firefox 5

 It has only been three months since Mozilla released Firefox 4, and not even a month after the first Firefox 5 beta, that Mozilla has released Firefox 5, following thier new rapid-release schedule, which aims to ship a new major version of the browser every three months in order to get new features and technologies to users more quickly.
Acording to Mozilla's blog, the release features more than 1,000 improvements and performance enhancements that make it easier to discover and use all of the innovative features in Firefox...
Firefox 5 is available as a free download for Windows 2000 or newer, Mac OS X 10.5 or newer [intel-only], and Linux.
In case you did't know, Microsoft sends Mozilla cakes whenever they ship a major Firefox release. It's a nice way to acknowledge hard-work, and it builds a more positive relationship between the two rivals.It's a also a bit sweet.. =P
Yesterday Microsoft sent Mozilla what seems to be IE 9 cake on the occasion of Mozilla's Firefox 5 release...
